This is the first music video I’ve directed. This is a music video (teaser)with original music by Tommy Tucker. The video is the first verse of his song, Exhibition of Real Music, and just a little something for the fans to have before his mixtape is finished. The video was shot in the heart of Little Rock, and be on the lookout for new music from Tommy Tucker and hit up his links that are at the beginning of the video.
1 Minute Trailer- Server Documentary Preview
February 9th, 2010 by Ray Valencia received 2 Comments »The full length documentary WAS set to be finished by Feb. 25th, 2010 but I need more content from you guys. I need more servers at more restaurants than just one. Other Central Arkansas restaurants interested in being interviewed by me for the documentary hit me up on here or at rayray600@aol.com. The clips in this trailer are all from real employees and customers at Saddle Creek Wood-Fired Grill in North Little Rock, AR. The full length video will feature more people, more footage, funny server stories, skits, pet peeves, and many other topics are covered. I don’t want to get into too much more detail right now. Just watch the 1 minute trailer and wait 2 more weeks for the finished product. That’s all you can really do…..because I’m not done yet. lol. People’s names and credits won’t be released until the video is complete so if you are wondering who these people are in the meantime, go to Saddle Creek and eat.
Other than that, I am writing a short film in my spare time (which isn’t very much time) and I’ll be working on it throughout the semester. I’ll keep people posted on here and Facebook/Myspace.

Documentary Film-making
February 2nd, 2010 by Ray Valencia received 4 Comments »Hey guys. The first 8 interviews were shot yesterday for my Server Documentary. Thanks to those of you that participated and even the customers that allowed me to film and interview them. Going to shoot a few more interviews later in the week and finish up the shots that I still want to get when Saddle Creek is busy and full this weekend. TGIFriday’s , Fox & Hound, and Texas Roadhouse all agreed to let me shoot some stuff there. If I include all of those people it will push my final release a little farther back… But the 1 minute trailer will still be released in a week from today at the latest (that’s the deadline for it).
Wintery Weather
January 30th, 2010 by Ray Valencia received 2 Comments »Nice to be stuck inside for a few days I suppose. All the roads here are covered with a sheet of ice. Rachel & I got a new dog.
I’ll be filming a documentary behind the scenes of Saddle Creek Wood-fired Grill in North Little Rock this Sunday. Should be fun and interesting. I should get the rest of the mics and lighting equipment Monday and finish filming on Monday afternoon/evening. The final cut is due on Feb 7th. So I should have it uploaded on here by then too.
Brock is finishing up some last touches to a song he wrote and recorded this week. I will post it as soon as he gets it mixed down and sent to me.

2010. A year for some changes and room for new productions. Still developing my production companies name and logo. It’s one of those things that just have to come to you though. So I’m waiting for it. Other than that, classes begin again in a week so it’s back to the grind. I’m writing a short film out of school. And living happily in LR with Rachel until we move to Florida. I don’t think I’ll miss this Arkansas ice and snow too much. But anyways…I’m gonna kick it like Tejada. ha.
This is a little shout out to my little brother Brock who is currently working on a rock demo tape. After the music is produced, songs and videos will be posted here on RayValencia.com.

Cookie FAIL
I’m glad the semester is finally over. Finished up with good grades and aced a few finals. Time to relax and have fun with friends and family over the next few weeks. I need to make some time to visit my instructor’s house to get copies of the TV shows I was in and the ones I directed. My music video needs to be rendered and exported again before I can post it so yeah. it’s still coming. Had some technical difficulties that slowed the process down. I need to get some cooler stuff on here while I’m on winter break too. So be on the lookout. Other than that, I hope everyone has an awesome Christmas and be sure not to get too caught up in the holiday hustle. Sit back with some family and friends and just soak up the love. It’s really easy to show around this time of year. So yeah… SHOW SOME LOVE.
Site Re-launch…..about freakin time
November 11th, 2009 by Ray Valencia received 4 Comments »Hey guys. It’s been a good while since I’ve had enough free time to get this site back up. Good news is: I got the site back up just in time for the end of the semester. Which means, lots of videos are about to surface. Filming for my first second show to direct and film at UALR went down last week and was a total success. Got an A. I was in a 4 minute Entertainment Section I pre-recorded on the green screen before hand so I could direct on the day of the actual live taping.
My next show is due in 3 weeks. It’s going to be a live sketch comedy show featuring crazy skits, including myself, and several short film segments including: our own funny PSA commercial, a live comedic news segment, and my friend Jan (Yahn) is doing a Mocumentary for it, “What Ever Happened to Michael Myers?” ( where is he now? lol.) I don’t want to give away any of the other skits or even how we are going to perform this yet but i do want to say….This is going to be hilarious! I’m collaborating with 3 very talented writers to produce this 30 minute comedy show and filming for the skits will begin in about a week. The taping of the live show will be in 3 weeks.
I’ll keep updating the site and try to work on the site’s look whenever I get some more time outta class and work. I stay busy yo. lol.
Who is Ray?
